General Information
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise and subject to change without notice.
Venue hire is not included in the catering charge unless specified otherwise.
There is a charge for the use of any function room as a chapel.
Table cloths, cutlery & crockery are supplied by the Club. We have a selection of colour overlays available. Should the colour required not be available, the Club will gladly hire them for your account.
The dance floor is a fixture and cannot be moved. Hiring of a dance floor for an alternative position will be for the Client’s account.
Unless otherwise arranged, the client is obliged to source their own entertainment. A
podium and microphones are available from the Club.
Prior arrangement must be made for sound and lighting equipment to be brought onto the club premises.
The Client is responsible for invitations, table menus and table place cards, or any other printing requirements.
The Client is responsible for floral arrangements and photographers, etc.
The Client may have the venue decorated by an outside decorator provided that no attachments are put onto the paintwork, wallpaper, plaster or ceiling boards. Damage to any of the above will be for the Client’s account.
Any candles used either on tables or free-standing in the venue must be non-drip or inburning only. Any damage caused by candles to Club property will be for the Client’s account.
There are 240V – 15AMP wall plugs available but any extension cords required must be provided by the Client.
A supply of 3 phase power points are made available at an additional cost, provided our Maintenance Department receive at least 5 days’ prior consultation or notice.
Pricing will be advised on application.
The Client is responsible for maintaining the good condition of the venue & everything in it, while in their use.
Any damage to the venue by the Client, their staff, guests or decorators while in their use, will be for the Client’s account.
A deposit of 50% of the account is due on the signing of the contract.
Final guest numbers must be confirmed, in writing, 3 days prior to the function.
Catering charges must be settled on the day prior to the function.
A refundable breakage deposit of R800.00 is required on the day prior to the function.
Cancellations are refundable provided the Club is notified in writing 60 days in advance of the function.
Dishes from the various menus contained herein are interchangeable by prior arrangement with the caterer.
Menu prices shown are those ruling at the time of publication and are subject to inflationary adjustments.
The bar closes at 11.30pm. Bar service may continue where required at R200 for the first half hour and R500 per half hour thereafter.
