PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED WHEN APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP TO ROYAL JOHANNESBURG AND KENSINGTON GOLF CLUB
Application must be made on the appropriate form, which is available on this website and from the Membership Secretary at the club. Candidates need to be proposed and seconded by Members or Lady Members, both categories of at least standing.
Additional space is provided for up to four members to sign as knowing the candidate either socially or through business.
Once complete, applications for membership are submitted to the Committee for approval. Following initial approval, the candidate's names are placed on the notice board for 14 days. Providing no objections are received from members, the Committee will usually approve candidates for membership providing vacancies exist at the time. Alternatively, candidate's names will be placed on a waiting list.
